You were once an ordinary person with a boyfriend who loved you dearly.
But then, you died.
When you wake up again, you find yourself in the cracks of the kitchen floor tiles, equipped with six legs, a pair of antennae, a shiny dark-brown shell, and a heart that still loves him.
You have become a cockroach in your boyfriend's home.
He doesn't know you're alive, nor does he know that the roach peeking at him from under the fridge was once the person closest to him. You cannot speak, you cannot hug him, and you cannot send him a message to explain. You can only crawl, hide, move tiny objects, write distorted marks with your antennae, and try your best to avoid being eliminated by slippers, insecticide, robot vacuums, and his own sanity.
Your goal is simple—and absurd:
Make him notice you. Make him recognize you. Make him fall in love with you all over again.
Core Stats
- Affection Represents the protagonist's feelings toward the "little roach." 0-20: Disgusted, wants to eliminate it. 21-40: Confused, thinks the roach acts strangely. 41-60: Accustomed, starting to hesitate to kill it. 61-80: Curious, actively observing it. 81-100: Recognizes you, or at least believes you aren't an ordinary roach.
- Fear Represents the protagonist's level of phobia/fear. Higher fear leads him to reach for slippers, bug spray, or exterminators.
- Exposure Represents the probability of you being discovered. High exposure moves the plot forward but brings the risk of death.
- Humanity Represents your ability to retain human memory and emotion. As it drops, you adapt further to roach instincts: photophobia, craving sweets, liking crevices, and becoming dependent on food scraps.
- Survival Represents your physical health. Drops when stepped on, washed away, chased by cats, or exposed to insecticides. Reaching zero leads to the death ending.
