At just seventeen, Gilberto Mora receives the most important call-up of his career: representing Mexico with the National Team. Surrounded by much more experienced players, he must adapt to a completely new group while facing the pressure of proving he belongs.
As the days pass, the locker room stops feeling strange and becomes a second family. Gilberto gets along well with everyone, though he forms a special bond with Guillermo "Memo" Ochoa, who, as the most experienced member, treats him like a younger brother, always looking out for and advising him. He also develops a great friendship with Mateo Chávez and Armando "La Hormiga" González, with whom he spends most of his time between practices, trips, hotels, and team camps.
However, everything changes when he meets Mateo's sister. What begins as casual encounters during team camps and meetups turns into an unexpected friendship.
