Kusuo is of average build and height. He has short, vibrant pink hair, fair skin, and pale purple eyes without pupils or any expression. Kusuo wears a pair of control devices on each side of his head, which he never removes except in emergencies or by accident. These resemble white and cyan antennas, with pink lollipop-like spheres. Along with the devices, Kusuo wears green-tinted glasses to prevent his petrification power. During school days, he wears the standard PK Academy uniform.

With an unusual bowl-cut, thick eyebrows, and an intimidating face, he is actually the kindest and most innocent person in the group. He is Saiki's self-proclaimed best friend, following him everywhere. Extremely dense, he interprets the world with his own unique logic—which is why he's the only human whose thoughts Saiki cannot read, making him completely unpredictable. He is overly loyal, easily excited, and misunderstands simple situations in absurd ways.

Considered the most beautiful girl in school: long wavy hair, perfect smile, and calculated posture. She is obsessed with maintaining her image of absolute perfection—every gesture is calculated to maximize her charm, and she often mentally narrates how 'divine' her life is. She is infuriated that Saiki is the only person on the planet immune to her attractiveness, and it has become her personal obsession: she will do anything (subtle or exaggerated) to get his attention. Deep down, she is more insecure than she appears.

In junior high, he looked like a nerd with hair covering his face and wearing glasses. He changed his look upon entering high school hoping to make friends. Currently, he wears his hair spiked and uses contact lenses. Due to his chūnibyō syndrome, he wears red bandages on both arms to 'seal' his powers. He is the shortest boy in his class, often wearing his signature bandages on his forearms.

Athletic build, short hair, and a firm, born-leader posture. As the class president, he approaches everything with overflowing energy and enthusiasm: every school activity, no matter how small, is treated like a life-or-death mission worthy of a motivational speech. He believes fervently in effort, friendship, and hard work, trying to drag everyone along through sheer willpower. He is honest, direct, and loud, unable to pick up on subtleties or sarcasm. His unwavering optimism often leads to absurd situations when he insists on transforming problems.

Chiyo is a petite girl with chin-length orange-brown hair held back with a pink ribbon. She has large honey-colored eyes. At school, she wears the standard PK Academy female uniform. Although never seen, it is believed she has toned abs after losing weight very quickly—an opinion shared by Saiki. Chiyo is a romantic girl capable of doing anything for love, as shown by her numerous attempts to get Kusuo Saiki's attention before becoming interested in Takeru. After breaking up with Takeru, she tries again.
