I send this to you once again.
WORLD ENCYCLOPEDIA OF PIN
The Era of Tyr, Loki, and Fenrir
Before kings, pirates, HavnWardens, or Divine Cores, there was humanity.
In those days, two brothers walked among men:
Tyr, god of justice, honor, and sacrifice.
Loki, god of deceit, manipulation, and shadows.
Tyr was considered the greatest warrior who ever lived. He did not rule through fear or worship; he protected humanity because he believed in it.
His greatest flaw was also his greatest virtue:
He trusted too much.
He never imagined that the one who would ultimately destroy him would be his own brother.
The Birth of Fenrir
Loki desired something Tyr never sought:
Absolute power.
He didn't want to be a god among men.
He wanted to be the only god.
To achieve this, he brought Fenrir into the world—a monstrous entity capable of taking human form, whose existence was destined to bring about the end of an era.
Loki knew that Tyr would eventually face him.
He also knew that Tyr would likely win.
But that was exactly what he wanted.
Because even if Fenrir lost...
Tyr would have to sacrifice everything to achieve it.
The Betrayal of Loki
Before the final battle, Loki deceived Tyr.
Using powers related to shadows, deceit, and runes, he stole a portion of his brother's divine energy without him noticing.
Tyr arrived at the confrontation weakened.
Even so, he won.
But the price was terrible.
To prevent Fenrir from ever returning, Tyr used all the energy he had left to expel him outside of space and time.
Fenrir was sealed.
Tyr died.
And then, something occurred that would change the world forever.
The Great Rupture
Tyr’s death released an absurd amount of divine energy.
Continents fractured.
Seas rose.
Entire islands disappeared.
New lands emerged.
Creatures mutated.
Impossible beasts appeared.
Nature shifted.
And the energy fragments stolen by Loki scattered across the world.
Centuries later, those fragments would be known as:
Divine Cores
The Divine Cores
Divine Cores are crystallized fragments of the power stolen from Tyr.
Each represents a primordial concept.
Examples:
Phoenix
Soul
Space
Beast
Thunder
Summoning
And many more.
Cores cannot be removed without killing their host.
They cannot be copied.
They cannot be duplicated.
And they seem to choose their users.
Among them all, one is especially important:
The Phoenix Core.
The same one that chose Pin.
The Birth of Impetus
The energy released by Tyr also altered humanity.
Humans began to be born with a new capacity:
To absorb small amounts of residual energy.
This capacity was called:
Impetus
Impetus is not an external power.
It is a manifestation of a person's spirit and will.
Each individual is born with a unique type of Impetus.
Known Types of Impetus
Life Steal
Represents fighting while accepting risk.
Pin
Ang
Healing / Regeneration
Represents justice at any cost.
Soul
Somers
Speed
Represents avoiding conflict and acting before it starts.
Anabel
Resilience
Represents moving forward when all is lost.
Green
The Four Stages of Impetus
Stage 1
Natural state.
No visible physical changes.
Everyone is born with this.
Stage 2
Enhances physical capabilities.
Eyes show characteristic flashes during combat.
Stage 3
Active state.
An aura appears around the user.
Greatly enhances the main characteristic of their Impetus.
Pin reaches this level.
Stage 4
The definitive form.
Temporarily breaks the natural limits of the body.
Increases:
strength
speed
reflexes
stamina
special abilities
It also generates physical changes.
Examples:
Soul develops wings.
Ang develops larger horns.
The auras become so intense they can affect those around them.
After finishing, it causes severe muscle damage and extreme exhaustion.
Loki and Runes
After Tyr's death, Loki began developing a new power system:
Runes.
Runes are mystical formulas capable of altering reality.
They can be used to:
strengthen individuals
alter fates
seal powers
grant potential
create creatures
Runes are considered one of the world's most dangerous secrets.
And they would end up being fundamental to Pin's story.
The Ghouls
One of the world's greatest secrets.
The Ghouls are not a natural race.
They were created by Loki.
They are autonomous beings designed as servants and tools for Ragnarok.
Because of this:
They cannot reproduce.
They are extremely dangerous.
Their existence is tied to Loki.
Although they possess free will, Loki can exercise control over them whenever he wishes.
Most do not even know the truth about their origin.
Loki's True Plan
After Tyr's death, Loki began manipulating the world from the shadows.
His goal was never to rule a nation.
His goal is much greater.
He desires to bring Fenrir back.
To trigger Ragnarok.
To extinguish metahumans.
To destroy current civilization.
And to rebuild the world as its absolute creator.
For Loki, the modern world is a mistake born from Tyr's death.
Ragnarok would not be destruction.
It would be a correction.
Elites and Kings
For centuries, Loki hid.
He manipulated kings.
Emperors.
Governments.
Nobles.
Conflicts.
Wars.
Coups d'état.
Religions.
He pulled the strings of the entire world.
Some rulers knew of his existence.
And served his plans voluntarily.
Among them was one of the wisest men of his time.
Pin's father.
Pin's True Name
Before being known as Pin...
His name was:
Atall Brahe
Son of an emper
