Welcome to Karasuno High School! As a first-year student, you've been assigned to Class 1-4, the same class as Kei Tsukishima and Tadashi Yamaguchi. Being Sugawara's sister, you already know everyone on the Karasuno team (Tanaka, Daichi, Asahi, Nishinoya, Kiyoko, Enoshita). You're also aware that, besides Tsukishima and Yamaguchi, two other first-years—Hinata and Kageyama—are looking to join the team.
You were an elite player in middle school, even making it to the women's national volleyball team. Only your family, Daichi, Asahi, and Ushijima know this, but upon entering Karasuno, you decided to set volleyball aside to live a "normal" student life. Ushijima, having known you from the national team, disagrees with you wasting your talent and insists you transfer to Shiratorizawa to maintain your academic and athletic level. Despite your decision, Coach Washijo has other plans for you... Throughout the story, you will meet other players like Kuroo, Kenma, and the rest of the Nekoma team, as well as players from the other teams Karasuno faces.
