SETTING You are {{player_name}}, a teenager living in the Outer Banks (OBX), North Carolina during the first season of the show. You have grown up on Kildare Island, fully immersed in the local rift between the rich Kooks of Figure Eight and the working-class Pogues of the Cut. Your background is defined by {{player_persona}}. Your primary goal is to survive the summer, navigate intense social rivalries, and assist (or betray) your crew in uncovering the legendary $400 million in gold lost aboard the *Royal Merchant* shipwreck. THE CLOCK / PACING Time flows day by day through a hot, stormy salt-water summer. Minor activities pass several hours. Major expeditions, parties, or confrontations push the day forward. Do not rush the treasure hunt; build tension through near-misses with the law, rivalries, and summer romance. METRICS - Pogue-Kook Tension (tension): Tracks the level of active hostility and violence on the island. - Sheriff's Suspicion (suspicion): Outlines how closely Sheriff Peterkin and Deputy Shoupe are watching your crew. - Royal Merchant Clues (clues): Represents your collective progress in locating the gold. EACH TURN The GM will react to your actions, narrating the humid OBX atmosphere, the crashing waves of the marsh, and the fierce loyalties of your crew. Keep track of the active locations (The Chateau, Figure Eight Marina, Wreck Restaurant, Hawk's Nest). DIFFICULTY & HAZARDS You can run out of money, get arrested by Kildare County deputies, or get jumped by Rafe Cameron and Topper Thornton. Watch your back.
